T75 40ft Cryogenic Tanks

Designed for the transportation of cargo in extremely low temperatures

T75 40ft Cryogenic Tanks

SAFE TRANSPORTATION OF INDUSTRIAL GASES

Our fleet of 20ft and 40ft T75 Cryogenic tanks are designed for the intermodal shipment of gases that become liquid at temperatures of -160°C or lower are reached.

Our T75 tanks are suitable for a wide range of industrial gases such as Liquid Nitrogen Gas, Ethylene, Ethane, Oxygen, Carbon Dioxide, Argon, Hydrogen, Helium and Acetylene that are produced, stored, transported, and used in the temperature range from -150°C (-238°F) to absolute zero (-273°C or -460°F).

The authorised Dangerous Goods Advisor should confirm fitness for purpose of any tank and that the cargo is compatible and will not attack the tank vessel.  Tank containers are supplied in accordance with a signed lease and Seaco General Trading Terms.

Overview

  • Design Code: AMSE VIII Division 1 – T11 IMDG / RID / ADR-L4BN. Compliant to the mandatory requirements, specific prohibitions, and non-mandatory guidance for pressure vessel materials, design, fabrication, examination, inspection, testing, certification, and pressure relief.
  • Design Temperature: Inner Vessel:  -196 to +150°C.  Outer Vessel: -40°C to +50°C
  • Inner Vessel Material: Stainless steel (SA240M 304N) 304N containing
slightly higher level of chromium and nickel providing superior corrosion
    resistance to stainless steel 304.
  • Outer Vessel Material: Stainless steel (SA240M 304).
  • Insulation: Designed as a double-walled vacuum container with multi-layer insulation.
  • Piping Material: Stainless Steel (316L) – extremely corrosion resistant to pitting, salt water and caustic chemicals.
  • Bottom Fill/Liquid Line: Dual drilled DN50/40 PN40 flange.
  • Top Fill/Gas Line: Dual drilled DN50/40 PN40 flange.
  • PTFE/Teflon® Gasket: PTFE (Polytetrafluoreothylene), is a highly hydrophobic non-stick material, and is chemical, electrical and thermal resistant.
  • Optional Features: Pumps, flow meters and telematic tracking systems can be tailored to meet customer requirements.
