HIGHER VOLUME – REDUCED COSTS
The KPK Jumbo Roll-Up Door Swap bodies greater flexibility across different types of loads and can easily be interchangeable between truck chassis, railroad wagons and ship decks ( stacked 3 units high).
Swapbodies provide more space than a standard dry freight container yet designed to the same external dimensions. They are also lighter in weight to minimize empty ‘dead’ weight, helping to reduce fuel consumption, carbon emissions, making it a very cost-effective choice in the international transportation of high-volume goods.
In Europe, this equipment is mainly used in the CEP (Courier, Express & Parcel) sector. Seaco offers a 360° Transport solution including swapbody rental, repair, maintenance and telematic services.

Overview
- Durable Steel Casing: The swapbody is constructed with flat side walls for strength and improved aerodynamics at high speed. Equipped with a roller shutter door.
- High Strength Base: Designed to withstand high payloads and frequent loading and unloading.
- Standard Dimensions: For intermodal compatibility – Length 7.45m, Width 2.55m x Depth 2.75m. The width enable two European pallets (80cm x 120cm) to be loaded side by side without leaving empty space.
- Optional Foldable Tables: For the ease and organised load/unload of cargo inside the swap body box.
- Versatile Stowage: For the ease of loading and unloading the swap body box between truck chassis, rail-wagons and onto ship-deck, providing greater logistical flexibility.
- Secure Corner Castings: Equipped with four bottom corner and upper corner castings for safe lifting and handling between modes of transport.
- Handling Features: Designed with forklift pockets and gripping edges for the easy lifting and handling by cranes and forklifts.
- Multiple Handling Compatibility: Suitable to be handled by a topspreader, gripper arm, forklift handling mechanisms for smooth operations.
- Upper and Lower Ventilation: Ventilation openings are fitted to enable the sufficient airflow inside the swap body and suitable for the transportation of packaged dangerous goods that may give off flammable gases or VOC emissions, such as lithium batteries, glue, paint, fireworks and ammunition.
