MORE PALLETS – MORE CARGO
The 45ft High Cube Palletwide provides a higher cubic capacity (89.2m3) than a standard ISO container. Palletwides can accommodate pallets from different continents. American Pallet (1.219m x 1.016m), Euro Pallet (1.2m x 0.8m) and Australian Standard Pallet (1.168m x 1.168m). The 45ft palletwide can carry 33 Euro Pallets instead of 27.
The internal width and length dimensions of the palletwide is designed to be 4 inches (0.10m) wider to accommodate pallets side by side and to the same external dimensions of a standard ISO Container. This equipment can be operationally handled in exactly the same way as a standard fully intermodal dry freight container.
More cubic capacity enables for more cargo being loaded onto pallets in the container side by side. This helps to reduce operational and distribution costs by more than 15% due to reduced dispatch time, less product packaging, and the tight secure loading of pallets preventing movement and potential damage of goods during transit.
