62ft Rolltrailers
ROLLING RAIL CARS
The 62ft Rolltrailer is a trailer platform with a low height of 850mm, equipped with big solid wheels fitted with vulcanised rubber tyres that generate lower heat to reduce rolling resistance. The solid wooden platform features two rails specifically designed for the easy loading and cost-effective transportation of rail-cars by RoRo.
These Rolltrailers are usually towed by specialised tractors, commonly used for the smooth and safe transportation of heavy industrial cargo in ports and on board to RoRo (Roll-on/Roll-off) vessels that are equipped with a mobile access ramp for the easy loading and unloading of the rail-cars, being towed between the edge and the Wharf.
