ROLLING STATIC OR BREAK-BULK CARGO
The 40ft Rolltrailer is a trailer platform that is towed by specialized tractors, commonly used for the smooth and safe transportation of heavy industrial cargo in ports and on board to RoRo (Roll-on/Roll-off) vessels that are equipped with a mobile access ramp for the easy loading and unloading of goods being towed between the edge and the Wharf. RoRo is the safest and most cost-efficient mode of transporting static or break-bulk cargo.
Rolltrailers have big solid wheels with vulcanised rubber tyres that generate lower heat and reduce rolling resistance. The 40ft Rolltrailers have solid wooden decking and are specifically designed to support the carriage of 100-120 payloads of large and heavy immovable high value cargo such as heavy industrial equipment and reels of cables.
Equipped with full-length lashing bars, reinforced stanchion pockets and multiple fixing points, helps to ensure cargo in transit is loaded safely and securely.
